Ritz-Carlton Weekend Event

The Challenge
In March 2004, The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida needed tenting for a private weekend event. The event to be held on the immaculate Da Vinici lawn required special set-up procedures so the area would not be damaged.

Our Solution
Signature Special Event Services spent a day and a half installing a 66-foot wide by 100-foot long clearspan tent. A plywood floor was laid so that the forklift and other heavy items would not harm the area. Staff members also created a very creative aesthetic curtain effect by tying back two of the walls. This enabled guests a clear view of the meandering lagoon and the 18th hole of the Ritz-Carlton’s golf course.

Results
Guests enjoyed the weekend full of events protected by the clearspan tent. Festivities included a picturesque cocktail party, complete with a round bar in the center of the tent and a live band. Signature Special Event Services staff members were on hand to ensure that everything went as planned. When the event was over the lawn and surrounding areas were left in perfect, pristine condition.
