Company Mobilizes All Available Resources for Hurricane Katrina Relief FREDERICK, MD, September 2, 2005 – Signature Special Event Services (www.EventServices.com), North America's leading full-service event rental company, said today that it has deployed 100% of its available event rental equipment to the Gulf Coast region areas hit hardest by the hurricane Katrina disaster. Tom Brown, president of Signature Special Event Services, said his company currently has seven emergency response teams working with relief organizations around the clock to bring power, shelter, food and supplies to those left homeless and desperate in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. "We're working at maximum capacity right now – we have every one of our generators, tents and mobile kitchens in use or on the way," said Brown. "We have seven teams of incredibly dedicated people, lead by Dennis Remsburg, head of our South Florida branch, in the middle of this monumental effort contributing expertise and hard work. Right now in New Orleans, temporary housing and facilities are being set up around the city on every inch of available land – it's the most incredible effort we've ever seen. We're working with FEMA, Entergy (suppliers of power to the City of New Orleans), BellSouth, Florida Power & Light, TXU Electric (Texas), Base Logistics, Asplundh, Cingular Wireless, and other organizations to get help quickly to storm victims."
